Mango shack shake

Hello summer, hello smoothie life. This mango smoothie is the epitome of sunshine summer vibes

With daylight savings about to kick in, it’s hello summer vibes and smoothie life.

Now a mango smoothie is one I’ve struggled to put together for a long time. For me a mango is best eaten in whole form, no tampering. Just pure mango goodness because how can you even improve the taste of a ripe mango? to me if perfect was a fruit it would be a juicy ripe mango. I can never work out if I love them so much because they are only available part of the year or of my obsession is really real. I think it’s the latter. I mean I can honestly, hand on heart say I could devour a whole box of mangoes in the same amount of time it takes to watch an episode of Seinfeld.

So what is the verdict on this smoothie? Well I’ll leave that to you to decide but personally I think. from one mango lover to another, I’ve managed to keep the mango dream alive, Mango shines through and is not lost in a sea of competing flavours.  I actually really enjoyed it as a smoothie and I hope you will too. Sometimes less is really more and I believe that to be the case with Mango smoothies.

  cup oat milk
 2 mangoes, flesh only
  cup natural coconut yoghurt
 3 tsp ice cubes
 1 tbsp chia or hemp seeds

Add everything except the chia or hemp seeds and blend in a high speed blender until smooth. Pour into a glass and top with hemp or chia seeds.
